Elixir Foundation is an initiative by the Presidential Awardees of Government of India to ubiquitously enhance lives for a better society. Youth Empowerment through community services is one of the major drives at Elixir to make today’s youth more socially responsible and we achieve it through numerous initiatives at Elixir.
Elixir Foundation works with multiple corporate across India on CSR initiatives where projects like green Planters, plogathons, Seed Ball making, and others tend to improve the state of the environment.

Activity Description:
Volunteer responsibilities:
Volunteers will plog (run/walk) certain distance to clean up the park with dry trash and also pick up leaves for compositing.
Cause:
Collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste is an acute problem in the urban areas, where rapidly growing populations generate increasingly larger quantities of solid waste that urban local bodies (ULBs) are unable to manage effectively. Improper management of solid waste poses risks to the environment and public health.
Impact:
Plogging not only addresses the growing concern for ecology and a healthy lifestyle, the fashion for jogging but also increases the simplicity and community spirit.
Volunteers will go through parts of Bengaluru and pick up waste dry waste, and use fallen leaves for composting
