Join us at Valverde Park for an Earth Day Recycling Event hosted by the City of Lathrop. We are looking for volunteers to help with the drive-thru collection. You will be collecting recyclable items such as batteries, oil, paint and tires from attendees cars.
Volunteers will receive an Earth Day shirt onsite.
Date: Saturday, April 22
Timeline: 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
- 8:30 a.m. – check in & assignments
- 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.- paired with staff assisting with accepting/tracking materials
- 12:30 p.m.- clean up
Location: Valverde Park - 15557 5th Street, Lathrop, CA, USA
Bring: Please rock your Tesla gear if you have it. We recommend you wear appropriate shoes/clothing/hat, bring drinking water and work gloves if you have them.
