Pega Japan – let’s help with the food drive!
Each Pega Japan employee brings one (or as many) food items to the office to donate to the food drive.

In Japan, so-called "food loss," or food that is discarded even though it can still be eaten, amounts to 5.23 million tons* per year. On the other hand, the price of electricity and foodstuffs has continued to rise in recent years, and an increasing number of people are suffering. (*From "FY2021 Estimates" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment) To reduce food loss and support households in need, a food drive will be conducted by setting up a collection point for unwanted food items by Chiyoda-city, Tokyo. Collected food will be provided to food banks and children's cafeterias.

The Japan CSR lead will contact you shortly with details on the requirements and details of the food items to be donated.
