At Narodno Chitalishte “Trotoara 2020” in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are building a safe, creative, and supportive space for adolescents and young people — a place where they can express themselves, find community, receive guidance, and feel that they truly belong.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help complete and develop key parts of our youth center TRAP:
A free recording studio
A professional space where teenagers and young artists can record music, rehearse, create podcasts, learn sound engineering, and turn their emotions, ideas, and stories into something real.
A room for psychological support
A quiet and welcoming space where adolescents can talk, reflect, and receive support from trusted adults, mentors, and qualified professionals when life becomes too heavy to carry alone.
Free youth activities and mentoring at TRAP
Concerts, volunteering, creative workshops, music programs, internships, youth-led events, community activities, and informal mentoring — all designed to support confidence, self-expression, emotional resilience, and mental well-being.
Adolescence is a beautiful but difficult time. Many young people struggle silently with anxiety, loneliness, pressure, confusion, low self-esteem, or the feeling that they do not fit anywhere. Some do not know how to ask for help. Some are not ready to speak. Some first need music, a friend, a trusted adult, or simply a room where they can be themselves without being judged.
TRAP is that room.
For more than a decade, our community has worked with teenagers through music, volunteering, events, gaming, education, internships, and mentorship. We have seen how powerful it can be when a young person is given trust, responsibility, and a safe space to create.
A donation to this fundraiser helps us give adolescents:
This campaign is not only about renovation, equipment, or activities.
It is about mental health.
It is about prevention.
It is about belonging.
It is about giving young people a space where they can grow, create, heal, and become stronger.
Sometimes one room, one song, one conversation, or one community can change the direction of a young person’s life.
Thank you for helping us build TRAP as a safer, louder, kinder, and more supportive place for adolescents and young people.
